Inset Sessions
Taking learning outdoors offers a safe and healthy space that will enhance and deepen learning opportunities through using natural features that provide real sensory learning that you can bring to life.
Experiencing opportunities to explore learning outdoors first hand with all staff can make all the difference in building momentum in your school to develop and advance the outdoor learning you offer to your pupils.
Training is tailored to support your school wherever it is and wants to go – from establishing confidence and ideas in staff that do not regularly use the outdoors to exploring new areas of activity you want to develop. It can help build towards running a Wildweek of activity – getting all classes out everyday. Sessions can also be used to build towards accredited Forest School Training.
Training session can run from 2 hours to a whole day and can provide a range of activities to use straight away as well as a short action planning process focused on - learning priorities, spaces and support - to develop this further.

Assemblies & Classroom Sessions (in person or remotely)
I have been passionate and excited about trees and nature my whole life and want to share the wonders of this with your pupils. I have previously delivered many assemblies throughout the south west when I worked for the Woodland Trust and their free trees for schools project.
I can offer a presentation to classes or bigger groups that can last from 20 to 40 minutes. These will involve a visual presentation of amazing facts and stories about trees and then if time some discussion and opportunities for questions from the children. This can be delivered in person or remotely. Each year where possible I offer a number of free remote presentations to schools in and around Bristol - please get in touch if you to explore this.
